Flamenco is a genre of dance which has its foundation in Andalusian music.
"Flama"in Spanish means "llama" which is flame or fire, and "enco" , means having a-similarity-to. So, it is suggested the word originated from flame and fire in order to convey the deep, flaming, passion expressed in Flamenco music, song and dance.
