Performance Stages

Planning for the festival is it's early stages, with the following performance area's being worked on:

Acoustic Stage:

We expect another full line up for this very popular stage. Featuring all the very best of Northamptonshires acoustic acts.

Alternative Rock Stage:

If its heavy, this is where you'll find it. On Saturday 20th running into the night. 

Cabaret Stage:

Always something interesting to see hear and expereince the Cabaret Stage features song, music, dance, recitation and drama.

Dub Tent:

Hosted by Northamptons own High Grade Rockers and Rocket Hi Fi, irs dub reggae at its very best. 

Global Mela Stage:

This is our world music stage. All the acts are based in Northampton or the county, although very often they are from communities that have settled in our community from all across the world. The line-up is an eclectic mix of dance, music & poetry and gives the full flavour of our beautiful mutli-cultural community.

The marquee will be decorate with a middle eastern feel and will offer tea's and food from around the world.     

Jazz & Classical Stage:

On Sunday 21st we have the Jazz & Classical stage, featuring some of the county's classically trained musicians.   

 

 

Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Cabaret Stage:

Now in it's third year the LGBT Cabaret is a celebration of diversity. The cabaret is for everyone, not just the LGBT community, although you will see artists from the LGBT community and those who just want to show their support for thier LGBT friends and family members. To perfom here we ask that your material celebrates diversity or you are from the LGBT community or that you just want to show your support. We will be running the 'Straight Allies' campaign again this year. 

Spoken Word Stage:

Hosted by the Bardic Chair, poetry and storytelling from the most gifted orators including the Bard of Northampton.

Theatre Stage:

The theatre satge shares a space with the workshop, debates and discussions area. Featuring local amateur dramatic groups and solo thespians.

UFO Cafe Open Mic Stage:

Nestled right in the middle of the festival the Umbrella cafe hosts the UFO Open Mic stage. Powered by people via the cycle generator or the sun via the solar panels the stage has all the gems of Northamptons open mic scene. 

Umbrella Stage:

The very best bands in Northampton are featured on this popular stage.

Youth Stage:

Run by young people with all the performers under 18 years old, see the future of Northampton music scene.
